State of change

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.” – Mary Anne Radmacher

We are all in a state of change. No matter what is happening, change is the constant. Life defined is chaos. It’s frightening. Most of us don’t like it or thrive on it. Even those that do, can suffer from excess stress that shows itself through family hardship, health, and psychological disorders.

It doesn’t matter if change is something that seems like a large or small transition to you. To someone else it’s different. I was a LPN (licensed practical nurse) for many years. It doesn’t matter how much pain you think someone else is in, it is completely different to them, and it’s personal.

It’s how we direct this change that helps us continue along each day, each hour, and sometimes each minute.

It is said that when you write, you should write about something you know. I know about life changes as much as the next person. I’m still learning to live each day. I suppose that I’m writing this in the hopes that perhaps, I truly hope, that it will help someone as well as myself.

It takes courage to learn from any form of change, and sometimes to live at all.

So walk with me. There is hope, love, and laughter even in the most difficult times of change.

  2. Change is sometimes referred to as seasons. A great motivational poster once said; It’s not what happens to a man, but what happens inside of him.
